Episode 26: The Summit of All Fears - Hitting Rock Bottom

The mountain rumbles again in the witching hours of the morning, and it's not just because of the incessant hammering in the distance! It appears the party has alerted a viper's nest of constructs to their location, and they've come marching in. Unless our heroes want to abruptly end their adventure, they'd better play this one close to the chest. Ront throws thunderstones like his life depends on it, Conall gains a level in pincushion, Azazel flings herself into the thick of things, Sav'ah Rah fight fire (resistance) with MOAR FIAR, and Halexan prioritizes flumph protection.

Episode 25: The Summit of All Fears - Disturbing the Dirt

With introductions behind them, our party and their Sentinel allies can get on with their investigative spelunking! Before they can complete their search and rescue mission, though, they'll have to deal with some unexpected urban adventuring, some new allies, and (because it wouldn't be a gripping game of D&D without them) some new enemies! Halexan takes point and converses with the natives, Ront practices his cartography, Conall throws caution to the wind with his bow, Azazel revives the time-honored tradition of using the combat roll as a standard mode of transportation, and Sav'ah Rah finds what she's been searching for...kind of...

Episode 24: The Summit of All Fears - Road to "F&$%-Off Mountain"

Say what you will about teenagers who just magically turned into...slightly older teenagers, they guess, but they can be surprisingly effective in preparing for a mountain expedition! Is it going to be all campfire stories and fantasy s'mores? What with a couple of wrenches thrown into the works, we highly doubt it. Sav'ah Rah works out some aggression, Halexan taps into some hidden organizational skills, Ront learns more "fun" and "interesting" facts about the Wild Magic Boulder, Conall names a mule (trust us, it's worth it), and Azazel drops in to join the party!

Episode 23: Old and New Acquaintances

It's just one bad break after another for the party as their second downtime becomes fraught with even more frenetic energy than the one they had before they left for the island! First it was Halexan's astral "phone call" from "dad," then it was the disturbance at the docks, and now they've got a meeting with their guild's boss. All this, AND they STILL have to GO on ANOTHER quest TONIGHT! Conall runs into a stock problem in the market district, Tessa joins us for one final session, Sav'ah Rah receives an unwelcome surprise, Halexan prepares to contain a fiery situation, and Ront has another belated fanboy moment.

Welcome ho--! Oh...oh no. It seems like something's rotten in the city of Baldur's Gate, and we don't just mean the produce being tossed at the boat. The gang comes back to a whirlwind of developments, briefings, and surfacing societal issues. Ront plays pen-pals via sparrow, Conall gets a new nautical toy, Sav'ah Rah learns how to read a crowd, and Halexan seems to have made a name for himself.

Episode 21: A Break in the Bowline

Holy SHIP! The BUOYS and girls are finally leaving the island! I'm SHORE that it'll be just a normal trip with a calm ocean where nothing could possibly go awry! ...Ha, YAWL know we're TRAWLING (Sorry. There's too many opporTUNAties for puns. Just look at the TIDAL. We had to KARPe DM...SEAS the day... okay, I'll stop). Sav'ah Rah has a pinch of jealousy, but finds the best bedroom ever, Ront plays boat-dad and puts the Historian feat through it's paces, Halexan cannonballs through one maelstrom of an out-of-body experience, Tessa takes a break as Elle sits out for this session, and Conall gets drunk in the crow's nest because what else would you expect him to do?

It's a rumble in the jungle folks! In this corner: a rag-tag crew of teenaged heroes, deinonychus mounts, and one interplanar field agent. In the other corner: a Yuan-ti Mind Whisperer with a scorpion ballista and his two armored allosaurus pets! The hostilities have begun, and our combatants are just getting warmed up! Conall answers a very important sending stone call, Sav'ah Rah gathers everyone around for a pow wow, Ront rolls some Wild-Magic roulette, Tessa holds for just the right moment, and Halexan just keep carving with the khopesh!

Our heroes' quest to restore the balance of nature on the island has led them back to the park and right into the claws of a classic "clever girl" ambush. They have their objective in sight and the correct MacGuffin to finish the job! Can they survive the final leg, or are they all "Muldoon for?" Halexan joins the local dino-rodeo, Conall becomes the center of the worst kind of attention, Sav'ah Rah has the best plan that nobody follows, Ront brings book smarts to the battlefield, and Tessa channels her inner Dinosaur Whisperer.

Six giant squirrels with a headdress, a robe, and a ring of levitation? There's no time to explain! Not with dinosaurs running amok! Tessa is a bubble-bear, Ront quantifies his mortality, Sav'ah Rah discovers rocket propulsion, Halexan wants Roland to tag along, and Conall can't ranger today.
