Episode 36: The Summit of All Fears - Cue the Waterworks

No ifs, ands, or buts, this party has guts! And the good news is that most of them have remained INSIDE of their bodies for the majority of this fight! They can’t stop to take intestinal inventory right now, though. A few Black Harts remain conscious, and the arena’s marble golem referee isn’t the only one packing a surprise or two! Azazel discovers the gaming equivalent of killing two birds with one small thermonuclear device, Halexan and “Bow Dude” finish their duel, “B” faces a cat’s worst fear, Conall/Gerald opens the wrong bottle (dear gods, we’re never bringing that literal Heartfire to a game again), Sav’ah Rah asks Roland the question on everyone’s mind, and Ront remembers that he’s a half-orc.

Episode 35: The Summit of All Fears - Running Riots

Buy yourselves some peanuts and Cracker Jacks folks, because it's a beautiful underground day here at the Dwarven arena as Red Team and Blue Team duke it out for...whatever it is they're competing for? SO MUCH MYSTERY! Ront gives Pawldryc a bad time, Azazel puts the pedal to the stone, Halexan does a few hot-swap hijacking high jinks, "B" finds a new toy, Conall concentrates on the objective at hand, and Sav'ah Rah finds another cool hat!

Episode 34: The Summit of All Fears - The Mighty Pucks

And the games have begun! This ancient arena has, once again, become home to a battle of epic proportions! On Red Team: a mysterious, masked band of villains with dubious snake-like aesthetics and an unknown agenda! On Blue Team: your favorite wacky band of misfits! Sav'ah Rah get fired up for a little magic duel, Ront comes to learn the power of mounted combat, Azazel jumps in all the hot seats, Halexan dodges, ducks, dips, dives, and dodges, "B" searches for higher ground and a good position, and Conall goes puck-wild.

Episode 33: The Summit of All Fears - And in This Corner...

Oh noes! Meets-the-Heroes Brightcliff has been captured! Luckily for Halexan and Conall, the rest of the team has arrived to lend a hand! A good, old-fashioned rescue operation is just what they’ll need to get out of this without any scrapes, but let’s be honest here: what plan has ever survived contact with the enemy? Conall learns the value of magical companions (even if they do ruffle his feathers), Sav’ah Rah plots the future of her new head accessory, Ront discovers a new, complex web of tactical possibilities, Azazel has some very strong feelings about Ganymedes, Halexan tries a bit of multiclassing, and B finds a lost companion!

Episode 32: The Summit of All Fears - Tea and Sympathy

Ganymedes has given some of our heroes a side quest! This episode, they venture into the residential part of the abandoned city in search of a golem and a magic stone that could free their new “friend” from his imprisonment. Hopefully they’ll find the two missing expedition members rumored to be in that area, as well! Halexan has another “fruitful” nap, B’s curiosity could very well kill the cat, and Conall ruffles a few of the locals’ feathers.

Episode 31: The Summit of All Fears - Cats, Cooks, & Prison Crooks

After recovering from their last explosive encounter, the party finds themselves at the threshold of the abandoned Dwarven city’s ancient temple! Half of the party stays behind to ward off any more nasty undead while the three stealthier members inch ever closer to the temple’s center in an effort to locate the missing Svirfneblin, “Cocoa.” Conall learns “the truth” (a WHOOOLE, heaping helping of it), Halexan learns a new recipe, and Meets-the-Heroes Brightcliff winds up on the wrong end of a bad knock-knock joke.

Episode 30: The Summit of All Fears - #SquadGhouls

After finishing their long rest, our heroes put their plans to rescue the deep gnome cook, "Cocoa," into action! Can they save him from the beasts about to strike, or will they fight for their lives inside this killer thriller tonight? Halexan dances with the dead, Ront tries to be as silent as the grave, Conall is currently still ghosting the group (much love to Gerald), Azazel's barrel-tossing has all the ghouls aghast, and Sav'ah Rah gives quite the fiery sermon.
Bonus Guest! Jeremiah's character finally makes his appearance, and its arguably one of the funniest moments we've ever had on the show!

Episode 29: The Summit of All Fears - The Scout About

It is a generally accepted fact that to go into a situation with zero intel is probably suicide. It is also generally accepted that splitting the party to do a reconnaissance mission to gather intel deep in enemy-occupied territory without sufficient training or stealthy equipment (need we also mention “robot death squads?”) is also probably suicide. Sav’ah Rah plans a performance, Halexan gets a Shield of Shield of Faith, Ront’s rock shard experiences some technical difficulties, Conall disappears to do his own scouting (Gerald couldn’t make it for the next session which starts at the second half of this episode), and Azazel learns about the “constructimatronics” that were at Rufus Ruffpuppy’s.
Bonus Guest! Jeremiah, Mike’s son, joins us in the second half to play "the most average guy in all the land" and goof around with friends and family in a very special session of The SpellCast!

Episode 27: The Summit of All Fears - You Translate, and I'll Wave the Sword Around

Happy One-Year Anniversary to us! Pop the champagne folks, we made it! Oh, but don’t be TOO loud, that battalion might still be around. Speaking of, our champions are nursing the wounds they gained at the hands of said mechanized militia and are plotting their next move! Hopefully it will yield better (healthier) results. Conall takes the strategic lead this episode, Azazel observes a VERY SERIOUS teen discussion, Sav’ah Rah learns a new language, Halexan teaches a Dwarf some manners, and Ront starts a semi-long-distance relationship.
